![]() Once you understand what you have to do, bring A to B then B to C, which is an easy concept that should not be overcomplicated by any means. Still on the main menu, make it possible to have ESC to go back a screen, backspace is a odd choice.Ĭould not find out what was the accountancy building for. And the Pirate Shop, I bought an engine for example but didn't notice if it replaced one of the two engines that you have or if I bought something that you already start with, bought the Coalburner engine if it does matter. Neat! Joking aside, one change that I'd like is having a button to reset the zeppelin position to the last completed mission for example since it takes a long time to got from one side to the other of the map (I was exploring since I bought the TEST MISSION PLEASE IGNORE.no one could ignore something like that!).Ībout tech tree, was able to buy somethings but don't know hot to enable it. Zeppelin on World map goes through mountains. Still don't know if I was doing something wrong. I had two train on each water pump but was using maybe on battery wagon on each pump. On the second map, I was having really hard time to use the batteries on the water pumps. I can see not really needing signals and having the "ghost" trains situation working fine, but would like at least merging tracks together instead of finding a way to make several mini-stations to several trains. Even today I still don't understand how to use some of the signals options that OpenTTD have, but because the way stations works in Railgrade, two tiles from the resource, I could find me easily overtrained (making new word here) on some station that could have 3 or four trains on it. Sure that it does make it simple, for both the players and developers, having multiple trains on the cost of speed. The track system with no signals and no branching together two rails got mixed feelings. The train vision are great just to have some fun minutes while relaxing or waiting for money to come by. might be something only on the demo I hope. If I wanted to sell just the train to exchange for another, could be a simple clicking on the train and having an option to it, instead of having to sell every single wagon, build the train and all the wagons again. I really would like a popup showing the train sideways with the wagons. Again as the tracks, it's simple, in less than 10 seconds you could build any train that you want after you get used to the controls. Thank you developers!īuilding trains is somehow strange. I didn't need a 15 minutes tutorial on how to build the tracks and stations. I could go around and make the tracks the way I want, not the way the game wants to automatically build, you have control of where the track will go, if it will connect to another track, was super easy to to a bridge and elevations. Here is what I enjoyed about this game over every "Railroad something" game. Just thinking on using the built-in music in the game, having a radio to be able to select which songs I want to hear is always welcome. ![]() On one side I like the music by itself, since it's a high tempo music and each stage does have time to get rankings, it makes you think faster but also if there's a sandbox mode, I'd like more relaxing or tones down music since I'm no rush to finish anything. I got mixed feeling about the music used. ![]() Loved the day/night cycle but one thing that I'd like is being able to build light posts along my tracks, maybe customizable colors so I could easily identify a track and what kind of supple the train on the track have. For the demo setting, you are on another planet, both maps felt right for the setting. Hope to have other type as well such as forests and rivers/lakes and so on. Travelled to the whole map, since seeing other type of terrains such as grass, snow, desert and so on make and want to play a sandbox game on each terrain. World map, good map, zeppelin and somehow squashed but function. On a 23'' monitor I could barely see that it was written 'Space' and the lower right of the screen to move forward. Sure it does not, or need, have the best graphics and details but when you start to think on a larger scale, that I hope that it'll have, of 50 or even more trains running around a single map, it's fantastic balance between graphics and performance.Īll the context buttons, suck as 'space' to quick forward the text, F, V and Shift to raise/lower the tracks, and others buttons, are too small. I don't think anyone that has played and liked something like Transport Tycoon (Deluxe or OpenTTD) would have such need for needing last generation graphics for a game such as Railgrade. Just finished the demo twice and was pleased to what I played. ![]()
